On 22-23 April, the first event of the EOvation series will take place. The contest is organized in the frames of the international project of European Space Agency EO ClimLab, which aims to build and develop a data analytics platform for climate data to support the creation of innovative products and services that respond to climate change. A hackathon’s EOVation Warsaw aim is to encourage and activate students, startups and business people to work and create solutions for the social and business challenges related to climate change. The initiative is supported by the Institute of Sustainable Development and the Energy Conservation Foundation. In addition, letters of intent were sent by such organizations as Mazovia Energy Agency, UNEP / GRID and Climate KIC. The organizers of the event are Kapitech as a partner of the EO Climlab project and Brain Embassy in the frames of ‘BE Involved’ workshop series.
